About Sam Lewald

Sam joined the Keystone team in 2019 after a 14 year career in healthcare! During his last 5+ years as an RN in the ICU in downtown Grand Rapids, Sam began to entertain the idea of a career in another area of his passions in life, housing.

His passion and dedication for caring for people paired well with his long standing obsession with all things home and their renovation (especially historic homes). In a “If not now, when?” moment of life, with the support of his family and wife, he chose to move towards the adventures and dreams he always talked about. Home flipping, short term rental investments, and a life of all things real estate was a journey that was just as nourishing and exciting as he could have hoped for.

With 6 years into the industry, Sam uses his own personal experience in construction, home remodeling/repair, short term rentals, and housing management, to help his clients make the best possible informed investment decisions they can.

Like his career in nursing, real estate has been a beautiful pathway to continue to connect and serve people in some of the most exciting and/or uncertain times of their lives.
